Meet Lorie

Lorie Lochansky and the Founder + Principal Designer of Blinds by i4Design.

I'm Lorie Lochansky and the Founder + Principal Designer of Blinds by i4Design.  I have 25 years of interior design experience and work exclusively with window treatments and draperies. My passion for design comes into play with every consultation!


In 2009, I launched i4Design in Fort McMurray, Alberta, an interior design business focused on new construction, renovations and decorating as well as my first Hunter Douglas showroom.  In 2016, my family permanently relocated to our summer home in beautiful Kelowna where I opened a second showroom exclusive to window treatments.  The Kelowna location has expanded to offer custom draperies, wallpaper and rugs.


Blinds by i4Design is based on the belief that customer satisfaction is the heart of our business and I strive to provide the best service in the industry. I would welcome the opportunity to meet you for a consultation!
